How to Assemble the Perfect Playroom
By: Amy Provisor

Pick your palette.
One way to brighten up the play space is to use vivid colors. Children respond well to color and it can be a welcome change from the adult-neutral palate you may have throughout the rest of the house. Get the kids involved by asking them what colors they would like to use. (more…)

Walking A Path of Healing and Focus
By: Peg Ashbrock
It’s a simple walk that anyone can do, but it can change your life. Labyrinth walking is coming back to the U.S. and to Greater Cincinnati with public and private labyrinths opening at medical centers, parks, churches, schools, memorial parks and retreat centers as well as in people’s backyards. Unlike mazes which are designed to puzzle and amuse, a labyrinth is a single path that people walk for personal, psychological and spiritual insights to quiet the mind, to find balance, and to encourage meditation, insight and celebration. Often they are cut into grasses, or paths lined with stones. Some are painted on blacktop; some are elaborate 200 feet in diameter structures. While generally found outside, many churches around the world have indoor labyrinths laid into flooring. (more…)

Organize your pantry that makes sense to you and how you live. Be organized, but do it your way. (more…)

The 2007 National Sleep Foundations poll “Sleep in America” focused on the sleep habits of women aged 18 to 64, and guess what, it revealed that American women are over-worked, stressed-out, and significantly sleepy.
