garysullivan.jpg Gary is a life-long Cincinnatian. With almost 34 years experience, he has dedicated his entire adult life to the home improvement industry -selling, using and talking about home improvement products. At 16, Gary began his career working in a hardware store as a stock boy. He later moved from hardware store management, to owner, limited partner and then to president of the 18-store chain. He sold the company in 1997 and remained President until 2001.Gary started his media career in 1986 with WCKY radio, originally hosting a one-hour home improvement call-in show that quickly grew to three hours in its first year. His media career expanded further in 1990 when he began home improvement news features for the local CBS affiliate. In 1996 he created and hosted a TV show,”The Hardware Store” which aired on HGTV for 4 years. In 1994 his radio career was changing as fast as was the industry. His radio show was switched to its current location on 55 KRC and expanded to fours hours each Saturday. His TV show changed names to Homeworx and was moved to 12 WKRC TV. In 2001 Clear Channel syndicated Gary’s show nationally; it’s currently aired in 120 markets on both Saturday and Sunday. Gary is proud of the growth in the syndication as well as the size of markets airing the program, including Cleveland, Nashville, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Tampa, and XM satellite radio.Gary is married and has three kids and resides in Liberty Township, Ohio. He is on the Advisory Board of Reach Out Lakota and gives free new home seminars for Habitat for Humanity


heidi_botkin.jpg Heidi Botkin received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of NE-Lincoln in 1995, and will always be a “Husker.” She has written for community newspapers in Nebraska and Pennsylvania. She has been married to her best friend for 10 years, moving with him to five states and blessed with three children along the way, ages 4, 6 and 8. “They are a constant source of joy and challenge, and make every day interesting.” The Botkin family likes to camp, read and laugh together, always thankful for God’s faithfulness.


stacey_dunaway1.jpg Stacey Dunaway graduated from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in 1998 with a degree in Advertising. During her career she has worked as a copywriter, project manager and event planner. Stacey’s true passion has always been environmental issues and she is a member of NRDC (National Resource Defense Council), Greenpeace and The Sierra Club. Born and raised in Eastern Kentucky, she brings a down-home, straight-forward style to her writing. Stacey is currently pursuing writing full-time and can be contacted at sdunaway@hotmail.com.
